JUNEAU - The Juneau Employee Wellness Coalition will host its monthly brown-bag lunch meeting from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Conference Room A of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Ethel Lund Medical Center in Juneau, 3245 Hospital Drive. Conference Room A is downstairs in the main clinic building.

The coalition's monthly meeting is part of a series of follow-up sessions for the local business, tribal, governmental and non-profit entities that took part in November's Working Well in Alaska employee wellness training in Juneau. This is the second meeting of the group since November's training. The monthly meetings are free and open to the public, including organizations that weren't able to participate in Working Well in Alaska. Groups that participate in the Juneau Employee Wellness Coalition may be eligible to apply for small grants from the SEARHC Steps to a Healthier SE Alaska Program to help promote employee wellness within their organization.

The Juneau Employee Wellness Coalition is a community-wide organization promoting workplace wellness in Juneau. Employee wellness team members from Juneau workplaces will be able to work on creating effective employee wellness programs, and they will be provided with on-going technical assistance to help implement the programs. The coalition is sponsored by SEARHC Health Promotion and the SEARHC Steps to a Healthier SE Alaska program.
