Pets of the week

Posted: Wednesday, January 23, 2008

Spirit, blue background, has a gentle soul. He is a little bit shy, but he is a cat who knows how to love and he is waiting for someone to find him.

Cowbell, black and white, is a big old spotted cow of a cat. He's a talkative 1 ½-year-old neutered kitty who loves to lie about and be petted.

Guinea pigs are tiny little furry fuzzy cuddly cute pigs that make squeak-chirp sounds of delight at the mere sight of a carrot. You ought to check out the charming little guinea pigs that are up for adoption at the Gastineau Humane Society now.

Jackson, black background, is a great cat. What makes Jackson so special is that he has reached the perrrrfect balance of playful without being crazy and cuddly without being codependent. Jackson is about 3 years old, neutered and microchipped. He gets along well with other cats and kids too!

You can visit these pets during visiting hours from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday or 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Gastineau Humane Society.
