Planning Commission approves three items

JUNEAU - The Juneau Planning Commission approved the following three items at Tuesday's meeting:

• Trail Mix Inc. received approval for the Auke Lake Trail reconstruction to reduce the requirement for a 50-foot setback from a lake where migratory fish spawn.

• Mackinco received an allowable-use permit to build a storage and shop building at 8415 Airport Blvd.

• Dana Howard received a variance to build a second driveway in a panhandle subdivision at 24755 Glacier Highway.

There was no discussion or public testimony.

The next meeting was scheduled for Feb. 12.
