JUNEAU - Three scouts from Boy Scout Troop 11 recently opened a bank account for Haitian relief efforts.

All money donated to the Haitian Relief account at any Key Bank location will be dedicated to help victims of the destructive earthquake in Haiti.

The scouts, Jesse Miller, Keegan Brown and Luc Browning, decided to open the account as part of their Citizenship in the World merit badge, and their effort to "think globally but act locally."

Troop 11 is lead by Keith Paulke and sponsored by Resurrection Lutheran Church.
