Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

About 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 49, was arrested at the Breakwater Inn on Glacier Avenue on charges of forgery and theft by deception. He was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

About 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to an altercation over a civil issue on Back Loop Road. The arguing parties were warned to stay away from each other.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

About 2:15 a.m. today, Jeff Pedersen, 23, was arrested on Egan Drive for felony criminal mischief after allegedly breaking windows of two businesses. Alcohol was involved in the incident.

Warrant arrest:

About 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 53, was arrested on Alaway Avenue on an outstanding Juneau Alaska State Troopers warrant and transported to and lodged at state prison. The warrant was a District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a status hearing on an original charge of assault.
