Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Traffic stops:

At 8 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 19, was cited and released at Valley Tesoro for driving with a revoked license. The vehicle she had been driving was left with a friend to park legally near the service station.

Thefts, lost and found items:

About 8:30 a.m. Thursday, a man, 31, reported the theft of a car stereo from an unlocked vehicle parked on Julep Street.

About 10:30 a.m. Thursday, a woman, 35, reported that her son, 13, had taken her vehicle from Stephen Richards Memorial Drive without authorization. The boy was arrested for first-degree vehicle theft and lodged at Johnson Youth Center.

Shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday, a man, 21, reported from Shaune Drive that a GMC driveline, a transmission part, was stolen from a company vehicle within the last week.

About 1:15 p.m. Thursday, a brown leather wallet found on West 12th Street was turned in to the Juneau Police Department. The wallet was placed in safekeeping pending notification of owner.

About 1:30 p.m. Thursday, a boy, 17, reported a stereo and speakers stolen from his locked vehicle parked on Wood Duck Avenue.


Capitol City Fire & Rescue responded about 7:30 a.m. today to a fire alarm on Merchants Wharf. It was a false alarm.

Vehicle accidents:

Capitol City Fire & Rescue responded shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday to a motor vehicle accident on Egan Drive. A woman, 30, complaining of back and neck pain, was transported by ambulance to Bartlett Regional Hospital. She was treated and released home in good condition, said Marijo Toner, regional affairs coordinator for Bartlett. Additional details of the accident were not available by deadline.
