The Big Bad Wolf won't be gobbling up grandma. He'll be singing instead.
Little Red Riding Hood and a guitar-picking wolf will be among the four acts performing Friday night at Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, the annual benefit concert put on by the Juneau Cooperative Preschool.
``It's a fun family concert for kids of all ages,'' said organizer Julie Pigott.
Most of the performers are the musical parents of preschoolers.
Pigott, a singer and guitarist, will do a set with her group, The Funny Bones. She'll be joined by bassist Adrian Minne and singer, guitarist and bones-player Jeff Brown. The bones are a percussion instrument usually made of wood.
The Silly Smile Seekers will perform a set of silly songs, Pigott said.
The cooperative preschool teachers will perform a set of songs as the Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah singers.
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Centennial Hall. Tickets are at the door and are $5 for adults, $3 for kids and $15 for families.
