Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested David Guy Stuart, 56, on a charge of drunken driving at 11:31 p.m. Tuesday on outbound Egan Drive at the retaining wall. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• Police arrested a man, 31, on a charge of theft of services at 8:43 p.m. Tuesday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged him at the state prison and also charged him with violating conditions of his previous release from pretrial custody in another matter.


• At 7:59 a.m. Wednesday, 15 tires were reported slashed on company vehicles sometime the previous night on Jensine Street near the airport. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

Vehicle accidents:

• Damage was reported to a taillight and the rear bumper of a 1992 Mazda reportedly struck by another vehicle at 12:03 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of West 12th Street downtown.

• Police cited a man, 20, on a charge of careless driving, and a woman, 38, on a charge of failing to show proof of insurance after an accident at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday at Douglas Highway near Lawson Creek. The man was driving a 2005 Toyota that reportedly struck a 1998 Volkswagen driven by the woman. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Toyota and $5,000 to the Volkswagen.

• Police cited a woman, 20, on a charge of failing to yield at a stop after an accident at 2:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway. The woman, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet that reportedly struck a 1994 Jeep driven by a man, 46. Damage was estimated at $4,000 to the Chevrolet and $2,000 to the Jeep.

• A front-end loader operated by a man, 31, reportedly struck a parked 1993 Geo Metro at 5:12 a.m. Wednesday during snow removal operations in the area of Gold, Fifth and Harris streets.

• Police cited a man, 35, who was driving a 1992 Dodge truck, on charges of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic and failure to show proof of insurance after the vehicle reportedly ran into the back of a school bus at 7:11 a.m. Wednesday on Dock Street in the Mendenhall Peninsula area. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage to the bus was estimated at $3,000. The Dodge reportedly was totaled.

Hit and run:

• At 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported his 2004 Jeep was struck by an unknown vehicle Friday night in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 10:27 p.m. Tuesday, a 1995 Jeep was reported struck by an unknown vehicle in the 600 Block of Willoughby Avenue downtown.
