JUNEAU - The Juneau Teen Health Center will host a meeting Tuesday about teen suicide prevention.
Speaker Susan Wylie will provide information to parents and other adults about what to do when a teen is depressed or may be abusing alcohol or drugs. Information will describe red flags to watch for and what to do about them, she said.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Juneau-Douglas High School, Room 206.
Wylie, a licensed professional counselor, has 15 years of experience working with children, families and individuals. She is the coordinator of counseling services at University of Alaska Southeast and has a private practice.
