Man arrested for rifling through car

JUNEAU - A Juneau Police Department officer arrested a 41-year-old man after observing him rifling through a vehicle in the Lemon Creek area early Monday morning.

Lance Cesar was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and larceny after the officer allegedly witnessed him enter the rear door of a parked 2003 Chevrolet van and rummage around inside the vehicle around 3:15 a.m. on Monday. The investigation revealed that Cesar had entered the van without permission and taken various items from the vehicle, according to a press release.

Cesar was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on $500 bail.
