Fort Rich soldiers to return from Afghanistan

FORT RICHARDSON - About 250 paratroopers from Fort Richardson will soon be home from Afghanistan.

The soldiers are expected to return today from their year-long deployment to the eastern provinces of Afghanistan.

They are assigned to the 3,500-soldier 4th Airborne Brigade Team.

Already about 350 other soldiers have returned home, with the remainder scheduled to arrive next month.
