JUNEAU - An aide to state Sen. Fred Dyson said Dyson's resting comfortably at a Juneau hospital hours after being admitted for an unspecified condition.
Chuck Kopp said the Eagle River Republican is expected back at work in a day or two.
Kopp declined to provide specifics on Dyson's condition, saying only that Dyson hadn't been feeling well and that he wanted to protect his privacy.
Dyson himself would only offer that he feels "fine," and expects to be released soon.
Senate Minority Leader Con Bunde said Wednesday morning Dyson is in an intensive care unit and he planned to visit him later in the day. Bunde said he was heartened by reports that Dyson had been reading a newspaper and negotiating with his doctor for a release.
