Alaska InvestNet and the Alaska Manufacturers' Association will hold the first annual Entrepreneur University Alaska from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott.
Entrepreneur University will bring together entrepreneurs, management and marketing experts and funders and investors.
Attendees will learn the fundamental elements of creating a business plan, developing a marketing and sales message, setting prices and finding funding.
Keynote speakers at the workshop include Geoff Larson of the Alaskan Brewing and Bottling Co. of Juneau and Scott Craig of Screenlife, a Seattle-based company that makes board games that use scenes from movies.
Alaska InvestNet is a Juneau-based nonprofit organization that seeks to match entrepreneurs with public and private individuals in the investment community.
