JAHC looking for wearable art

JUNEAU - The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council is taking applications for entries in the annual Wearable Art Extravaganza. Artists may propose ideas for hand-made jewelry, clothing, traditional regalia, or costumes.

Applications are available at the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council office at 206 N. Franklin St.

The costumes will be judged at the Wearable Art Extravaganza, held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall.

The event is a fund-raiser for the JAHC scholarship and grant program. Call 586-ARTS for details.
