Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

• A 1987 Volkswagen driven by a 42-year-old man sustained $1,000 in damage when it slid into a 1978 Jeep Cherokee on Willoughby Avenue at 12:32 p.m. Sunday. Damage to the Jeep was not estimated.

• A 40-year-old woman driving a 2003 Ford struck a 2005 Chevrolet driven by a 37-year-old woman at 12:39 p.m. Sunday in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway. The Ford sustained $1,000 in damage; the Chevrolet $4,000.

• A 35-year-old man driving a 2003 Ford truck was in an accident involving a chain and a pole at 7:38 a.m. Monday in the 12100 block of Glacier Highway. Property damage was reported at $100; vehicle damage was also $100.

• A 1989 Ford truck driven by a 19-year-old man hit a 2005 Ford truck driven by a 52-year-old woman at 11:38 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Tongass Boulevard. The man was cited for careless driving, and the woman was evaluated for minor injuries. Damage to the older truck was $5,000; the 2005 vehicle sustained $10,000 in damage.

Domestic assault:

• A 20-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault at 7:38 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Industrial Boulevard. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
