I would like to see Sealaska publicly disclose the losses incurred during the time that Bob Loescher was CEO.

Sealaska has never made any income on Calder, the lime stone mine, or TriQuest. The investments and timber have always carried Sealaska.

Sealaska should hire its next CEO from the outside of the corporation.

Before we experience another power failure please review page 48 of the DMV driver's manual, paragraph titled, Unlit Signal: "In times of traffic signal failure the intersection is to be used with caution as a four-way stop."

Drivers should use caution at the road crossing at Kmart. My kids have almost got hit because drivers were not paying attention to the traffic light.

I'd like to know if anyone else is concerned about the large group of kids that hang out up by DZ on the weekends.

Even though we have terrible drivers and more dogs than people in Juneau, it's still not a bad place to live.

It sure would be interesting to find out what's happening with the Huna Totem Corporation with everything that's happening with the voting system.

I think Bob Miller's My Turn was right on. This is from another 30-years-plus resident of Juneau.

My child was almost hit by a car yesterday in a store parking lot. Is there a reason people have to go 40 mph in a parking lot?

I'm not sure how these fast ferries are supposed to work. The ferries we have now are capable of much more speed, but limited by Coast Guard regulations, for good reason.

Some of the best kept local secrets are by corporate monopolies that offer senior discounts. There are significant savings available for movie patrons, airline travel and resident trash collection. You can get the information by calling the business offices.

Bush hasn't set back a woman's right to choose. Women have always had the right to choose. They can choose to be on the pill, use a condom, or a dozen other methods.

After Jim Duncan privatizes telecommunications, maybe he could also privatize retirement and benefits.

We don't need to delay the high school exam. I fully agree with the caller that said the children need to take responsibility.

I am very tired of hearing all these people complain that Mr. Bush is not very smart. He graduated from Yale and then got an MBA form Harvard Business School. I would like to know where these critics got their degrees. How many baseball teams did they run? How many oil companies did they run? How many states were they the governor of for two terms?

We need a fair price for a one-garbage-can pickup. It will increase recycling and be a much more efficient way to do this.

It would be in the best interest of the people of Juneau that all pulltab sites be closed. This type of gambling is very addictive and this type of fundraising should be stopped.

It's warm again and I'm getting old. Do I have to move south or are we just going to keep this weather?
