JUNEAU - Police arrested five people since November on charges of forgery and burglary in connection to a theft of 45 payroll checks at a downtown business.
With one person still wanted, the most recent arrest came Monday when Mark Nash was arrested on a charge of forgery.
Previous arrests include Cindy Hotch on charges of theft and forgery; Heather Schimanski on charges of burglary, theft and forgery; Nicole Richert on a charge of aiding and abetting burglary; and Vonnie Williams on 14 counts of theft.
Police allege Schimanski stole the checks in November after Richert gave her the keys to a former employer's building. The business was not named.
Williams allegedly directed all but Richert to forge and cash a total of $18,257.60, according to the Juneau Police Department.
Police said Joycelyn White remains wanted on a charge of forgery.
