Ketchikan resident shares Gloria's dip

K.B., of Ketchikan, is sharing a favorite that came from a co-worker back in 1986. K.B. says: "I make this dip for BBQ's, parties and during holidays. It is quick, simple and the best part is, it can be made ahead. I am often asked, 'What is in this? Can I have the recipe?'"

Gloria's Dip

1 (16-ounce) carton sour cream

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese (at room temperature)

1 cup chopped cashew nuts

1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained

Mix all ingredients together well. Refrigerate overnight!

Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
