A story in Wednesday's newspaper misstated the road project for which the Alaska Legislature appropriated $45 million in 2006. It was appropriated for the proposed Lynn Canal highway rather than the gravel pioneer road slated for north of Juneau. Additionally, the article's first sentence should have said that the $20 million in materials purchased by the state were intended for the overall highway project.
