Organization description: AWARE provides safe shelter, advocacy, education and support for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse, and community prevention/education on these issues. On-the-job training is provided for most work. Formal training for facilitators provided in the fall and spring of each year. Background check performed (for sex offender history).

Featured volunteer position: AWARE is in need volunteers to do gardening and indoor plant care. Many of our plants are outgrowing their pots and need to be split or topdressed. All could use some attention. There is no training required. Green thumb preferred.
