Anchorage man kills brother over argument

ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage man killed his brother during an argument, police said.

Thirty-seven-year-old Vincent Wilkerson was charged with first-degree murder in the death late Wednesday of his brother, Gregory.

The brothers were with other people at an East Anchorage mobile home when the Wilkersons began arguing, police said.

Vincent Wilkerson is accused of producing a gun and shooting his 34-year-old brother several times, police said. Gregory Wilkerson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Besides murder, he also faces charges of weapons misconduct and tampering with evidence. He was being held at the Anchorage Jail with bail set at $650,000 plus a third party custodian.
