WASILLA - Alaska State Troopers in Anchorage say two Fort Richardson soldiers have been charged with robbery, burglary and extortion.
Nineteen-year-old John Martin and 21-year-old Murray Stewart were arrested Thursday.
The charges stemmed from an armed robbery near Wasilla in early January. Troopers say two suspects wielding guns broke into two apartments in Wasilla in search of money they believed had been stolen from a friend.
Martin and Stewart were booked into the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $10,000.
