FAIRBANKS - Eight blasts were heard in the Chena Ridge area of Fairbanks where authorities destroyed explosives and other hazardous materials found in a home.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports they finished the clean-up Thursday and returned the three-story modified A-frame to its owner.
Alaska state troopers discovered the explosives after a Jan. 10 explosion at the home that injured a 20-year-old resident, Dane Koponen.
Fertilizer, battery acid, ethanol and other explosives were stored in an unsafe manner.
Troopers have ruled out the possibility that it was a drug lab.
