Man killed in snowmachine crash at Deering

DEERING — Alaska State Troopers say alcohol and speed were factors when a man crashed a stolen snowmachine into a trailer in the village of Deering, 57 miles southwest of Kotzebue.
The crash Sunday morning killed 30-year-old Craig Jones and left 22-year-old Karla Moto critically injured.
The snowmachine, and passengers all ended up inside the ATCO trailer.
