Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


A girl, 15, was arrested for concealment of merchandise shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alaskan & Proud market. She was released to the Mobile Crisis Unit because no guardian was available to take custody of her.

A woman, 36, placed another woman, 40, under citizen's arrest shortly before 4 a.m. today in the Lemon Creek area for theft of services after the older woman refused to pay her cab fare. The responding officer lodged the suspect at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


On Tuesday evening, an intoxicated man, 42, was escorted from a downtown bar by the bartender. The same man was later seen by police at another bar, where he was asked to leave. About 8 p.m., police arrested the man for public intoxication and additionally charged him with resisting arrest. He was lodged at the state prison.
