Alaska Marine Lines Ski Race Series: Races begin each day at 10 a.m. at Eaglecrest. Thursday is time trials for the super giant slalom; Friday is super-G finals. Saturday is giant slalom finals; Sunday is slalom finals. The AML Series is a qualifier for the Junior Olympics in March.

Juneau girls basketball hosts the Colony Knights: Gametime is 6:15 both Friday and Saturday at Juneau-Douglas High School.

Juneau boys basketball hosts the North Pole Patriots: Gametime is 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday at Juneau-Douglas High School.


ADULT COED VOLLEYBALL CLINIC Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School gymnasium. For coed division 1, 2, and 3 players, clinic is from 6:15-7:45 p.m. For coed division 4, 5, 6 players, clinic is from 8-9:30 p.m. Clinic is free for all Parks and Recreation coed volleyball participants. LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL WINTER CLINICS Held by the Gastineau Channel Little League every Sunday at Riverbend Elementary. Clinics continue every Sunday after until March 12.
