Juneau resident Mildred Lang, 87, died Feb. 1, 2006, in Juneau. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Pioneers' Home in Juneau.
She was born April 19, 1918. Family members said, "She loved to be around people, sing, listen to music and play bridge. Despite a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, she was a joy to her family, including her extended 'family' at the Pioneers' Home,'" where she lived since 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jonathan Lang, and her parents and siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Chava Lee; son-in-law, Richard; grandchildren, Aurora and Adam Lang, and Elijah, Annabelle, Toby and Nelson Lee; brother, Bob; and friends and family at the Pioneers' Home.
