Alaska Marine Lines Ski Race Series: Races begin each day around 10 a.m. at Eaglecrest. Today is super-G finals, Saturday is giant slalom finals, Sunday is slalom finals. The AML Series is a qualifier for the Junior Olympics in March.

Juneau girls basketball hosts the Colony Knights: Gametime is 6:15 both Friday and Saturday at Juneau-Douglas High School.

Juneau boys basketball hosts the North Pole Patriots: Gametime is 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday at Juneau-Douglas High School.

LITTLE LEAGUE MEETING RESCHEDULED The Gastineau Channel Little League has been rescheduled for Feb. 15, from 7-9 p.m. at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School. Baseball - Room C201; softball - Room C210. This is an opportunity for the community to share ideas and concerns with the GLCC Board of Directors about the upcoming season.

ADULT COED VOLLEYBALL CLINIC Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School gymnasium. For coed division 1, 2, and 3 players, clinic is from 6:15-7:45 p.m. For coed division 4, 5, 6 players, clinic is from 8-9:30 p.m. Clinic is free for all Parks and Recreation coed volleyball participants.
