Correction & clarification

Due to a reporter's error, the article in Sunday's Empire on small fires at Juneau-Douglas High School misstated the date of the latest fire. It was Jan. 28, not Dec. 28.


A Juneau Empire article on Monday stated the Alaska Permanent Fund Corp. is planning to spend up to $1.6 million on television and radio advertisments promoting the percent of market value, or POMV, plan. While the plan would most likely lead to a change in statutes on the calculation of the dividend, the focus of the plan is not to change the dividend-calculation formula, but to change how the permanent fund is managed.
