Juneau Douglas Advisory Committee to hold meeting

JUNEAU — The Alaska Department of Fish and Game will hold a committee meeting from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the Egan Library Building, rooms 222 and 223, at University of Alaska Southeast.

There is one hunting guide seat currently open. This is a three-year term expiring on Dec. 31, 2013. The JDAC will also be discussing the proposed Taku River critical habitat area. No public comments will be taken on this item. A brief overview of The Open Meeting Act and discussion and development of proposals for the Alaska Board of Fisheries will also take place.
