Symphony chatter

Posted: Tuesday, February 05, 2002

I attended the wonderful performance of the Juneau Symphony on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002.

Seated in the row behind me and three seats to the right were an adult and young child. The adult and child conversed during the concert in audible tones. Several times I asked the adult to be quiet and for a short time it would work.

Please remember that if you're going to the concert people are there to enjoy the music, not to listen to your conversations. The adult should know better and teach the child correct concert manners.
