Regarding the "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" story, I hope Joseph Frederick and the American Civil Liberties Union win. I can't believe this is going this far. On the wolf trapping story, I have to side with Mark Farmer. It would be nice to see a wolf in the wild, rather than on someone's fur collar. On the talk show case, for fear of offending the good people from southern California who haven't decided whether to visit Alaska, I think no human being needs to be abused by someone who gets their pleasure putting other people down.
I'd like to thank the gentleman with the front end loader who not only did a great job cleaning the street in front of our house, but also helped get my car out of the snow bank that had fallen in front of our house in the driveway.
Is there a doctor in the house? I mean, a psychiatrist in the White House? When, oh when, is someone going to comment that our nation's highest office is occupied by a dangerous simpleton? George W. Bush is a very stupid and ignorant man and he needs a severe wake-up call from the American people. His grotesque and murderous approach to world affairs threatens us all. Osama and his zealots are a continuing threat, certainly, but pale before the threat posed to the world by George W. Bush and his zealots.
What is the rational for printing all of these letters to the editor from people who do not live in Alaska, much less Juneau, defending Tom Leykis against Karen Carpenter? It seems to me this is a Juneau issue; it is being tried in court in Juneau.
