A disclaimer may be a wise precaution in disputatious times. I am a state employee. The following is a personal opinion:
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lew Williams Jr., for your superb Sunday, Feb. 1, My Turn "Tongass Tales: Fairy and ferry."
Perhaps the most honest praise one journalist can offer another: Great piece. Wish I'd written it.
