Title and Firm: Carrie Graham is sole proprietor of Alaska Reliable Travel Services, which opened in May of last year.
Services: "I work out of my home so I am available all the time," Graham said. "I work via e-mail which I think is a great way to do it because you can respond faster. Customers can always drop by and go through brochures. I can make house calls in the evenings. I am very flexible."
Graham specializes in travel to the Hawaiian Islands, especially Maui, and Disneyland. "But I do it all," she added.
"We are promoting cruises, such as a group cruise on Carnival to the Mexican Riviera, leaving Los Angeles on Sept. 15. It's a great time to get family together, and we have great rates so a fourth or fifth person can go for about $400."
Quotable: "With my online booking site, people can research and browse. You can search by destination, by connecting cities; you can do hotel and car. We will look it over before the ticket is actually printed to make sure you get the best deal." The online booking site address is www.travelgalileo.com/cyndicruiseand travel. "I have just got that instinct for finding answers," she said.
