Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

Police arrested a man, 52, for domestic violence assault at 11:49 p.m. Wednesday in the downtown area. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Police believe alcohol was involved.

Police issued a verbal warning for basic speed violations to a woman, 35, following a one-vehicle accident. The woman lost control of her vehicle and hit a guardrail.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A man reported at 5 p.m. Tuesday that his mailbox had been hit by a vehicle sliding into a ditch. There was no note left on the scene.

Domestic violence calls: 1.

Alcohol-related calls: 1.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a snowboard stolen from Eaglecrest on Dec. 22. The stolen Burton Balance Snowboard, valued at $400, is blue and orange with a clear oval Nidecker stomp pad and orange Drake bindings.
