Chuck Tyler, an architect with the national firm Fanning/Howey Associates, points out details in two of four schematic designs for the Dimond Park high school at a meeting Friday of city and school district officials. Fanning/Howey Associates is consulting with lead architects Minch Ritter Voelckers of Juneau. The planning team expects to choose a schematic design on March 10 for the 166,450-square-foot, $53 million school, scheduled to open in fall 2008. Schematic designs show the relationships between different blocks of space, such as the gyms, classrooms and offices.
