If not farmed salmon...

If the assembly and environmental activist Marc Wheeler are truly concerned about area jobs, where are the resolutions that local jewelry stores should sell only locally mined gold and that building supply firms should sell only locally grown and processed wood products?

Where wild salmon originate and where they are caught should also be addressed. Where is the resolution discouraging the sale of wild salmon that come from endangered stocks, those that migrate to Glacier Bay and salmon that are caught in Steller Sea lion habitat?

Please don't think I'm being negative because I do support a ban on the sale of newspapers not printed on Alaska pulp!
