Driving while intoxicated:
Shortly before 1 a.m. today, Robert Parramore, 27, was arrested near the intersection of Main Street and Fourth Street for drunken driving. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Thefts, lost and found property:
About 10:30 a.m. Thursday, a man, 37, turned in to police a blue 18-speed bike he found at Marine Park.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at Mile 20.1 of the Haines Highway. A woman, 54, of Klukwan, was driving southbound when she lost control of her vehicle. It went off the road and overturned. The woman, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Haines Medical Clinic for treatment of minor injuries.
A driver reported to Capitol City Fire & Rescue about 1:20 p.m. Thursday that he saw a person fall off a rail at the roadside just before the Brotherhood Bridge. This was misinterpreted by dispatch, firefighters said, that someone had fallen off the bridge itself. No one went into Mendenhall River. No one was injured.
