Juneau Christian School's 'A', 'A/B' honor roll for 2nd quarter

'A' Honor Roll Students for the sixth grade are: Brittany Donahue, Eric Fagerstrom, Megan Hart, Michelle Kirkham, Karen Leder; seventh grade: Callie Cummins, Corey Mulder, Cassie Orbistondo, Suji Helmer, Timothy Mesdag; eighth grade: Amy Bergmann, Briana Donahue, Lindsey Pettijohn. 'A/B' Honor Roll Students for the sixth grade are: Kallie Jacobsen, Courtney Johnson; seventh grade: Loryn Mason, Trevor Papasodora, Brendan Thomas, Marissa White; eighth grade: Nicole Conrad, Tracey Reinwand-Muir, Kailyn Sanders.

Juneau student Eriksen named to Hamline dean's list

Christina NaMee Eriksen of Juneau was named to the dean's list at Hamline University's College of Liberal Arts for the fall term of the 2004-2005 academic year. Members of the dean's list achieve a grade point of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 scale. Eriksen is the daughter of Kent Eriksen and Karen Eriksen of Juneau.

Willis to graduate

Sarah Lea Willis, daughter of Gaye and Scott Willis of Juneau, received a master of library and information science degree in December from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. Willis studied digital libraries, archives and cataloging for her degree. She practiced her skills during the summer 2004 at an internship with the Alaska State Library Historical Collection. She is continuing her studies this semester and will receive a certificate of graduate study in May before beginning her job search.

Fanning makes dean's list at University of Portland

Jeffery Fanning of Juneau is listed on the 2005 fall-semester dean's list at the University of Portland. Fanning is a senior majoring in global business. Students need at least a 3.5 grade point average to make the dean's list.
