Alika Bradley, 17, a senior at Juneau-Douglas High School, is cheered on by his classmates during Homecoming week's root beer and ice cream eating contest Wednesday in the school commons. Bradley blew the competition away by simultaneously eating his ice cream and guzzling root beer. Homecoming week will culminate with the crowning of the Homecoming royalty after basketball games Friday.
