Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken Driving:

• Police arrested Michael Kelly, 34, on a charge of drunken driving at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday at Mendenhall Loop Road and Dudley Street. They lodged Kelly at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• Coins valued at about $1,000 were reported stolen at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday in a burglary of a residence in the 9900 block of Silver Street in the Valley.


• Prescription medication was reported stolen at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday from the 300 block of West 12th Street.


• The driver's-side window of a 1991 Eagle Summit was broken out at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Glacier Avenue in the Twin Lakes area. Damage was estimated to $250.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 35, the operator of a 1976 Chevrolet pickup, on charges of carrying no proof of insurance and failing to yield. Officer reported that they believe he caused an accident with a 2002 Ford at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday on Crest Street near the airport. The Ford was driven by a man, 61. Total damage from the accident was $5,000.

• At 4:56 p.m. Tuesday in the 11000 block of Auke Lake Way, a 2001 Ford Ranger driven by a man, 25, reportedly slid into a parked 1996 Subaru Legacy. Damage was reported as minor.

Hit and run:

• A woman reported at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday that her 2001 Pontiac was hit by an unknown vehicle in the 200 block of Front Street.

• A woman reported at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday that an unknown vehicle struck her 2000 Subaru somewhere in the Juneau area.
