FAIRBANKS - Five students from schools in Fairbanks have been arrested on marijuana charges.

Alaska State Troopers made four of the arrests at West Valley High School and one at Ryan Middle School.

Authorities said administrators at West Valley discovered evidence that a 15-year-old girl was dealing pot on school grounds.

Meanwhile, police said a 14-year-old boy at Ryan Middle School was allegedly showing a bag of pot to other students Friday afternoon.

Alaska State Troopers didn't release the students' names because the charges will be pursued in juvenile court.
