Where are Juneau's preeminent scholars?

Letter to the editor

In my opinion, lack of education is why Juneau is just a tourist town.

If Juneau invests in proper education there will at least be a chance in maybe 18 years Juneau will be able to support itself. It is a fact that Juneau's future is in school right now. Today's paper said that "two preeminent scholars" are coming to town to give advice on the Capitol. I would like the city to ask the "scholars" to explain why Juneau doesn't have any "preeminent scholars."
