Alaska Air attendants agree on contract

SEATTLE - Alaska Airlines and the Association of Flight Attendants have reached an agreement on a proposed two-year contract extension.

It would cover 2,800 flight attendants through April 2012.

The union and Seattle-based airline said the agreement was presented Tuesday to union members and results of a vote on the contract are expected in mid-March.
