Police and Fire

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Rowena June Reeves, 36, was arrested for drunken driving at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday near Sixth and Franklin streets. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• An inmate at the state prison sustained minor head injuries as a result of a fight with another inmate at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Alaska State Troopers are investigating.

• Police arrested a man, 29, for domestic violence assault at 8:04 p.m. Wednesday in the Lemon Creek area. The man was lodged at the state prison.


• A Visa credit card was reported stolen at 10:37 a.m. Wednesday near Hospital Drive.


• Police reported they found drug paraphernalia at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday near Hurlock Drive. The items were taken into custody to be destroyed.

Vehicle accidents:

• A boy, 5, sustained a minor injury as a result of a vehicle striking him at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday near Kanat'a Street. The boy's grandfather, 59, was driving the vehicle. The boy was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital where he was treated for a bruise on his foot and released in good condition.
