At Cleveland, All-Star MVP Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 17 rebounds for his 41st double-double this season to lead surging Minnesota past the struggling Cavaliers.
JDHS graduate Carlos Boozer started and played 33 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Timberwolves. He scored nine points, had three steals and grabbed five rebounds in the 102-91 loss.
The Timberwolves won their fourth straight and 10th in 12 games. Cleveland lost for the 12th time in 14 games and fell to 2-8 under interim coach Keith Smart.
