Be grateful for the city's snow plowing

I let out a little chuckle after reading a recent article, "Citizens complain about snow berms" (Feb. 5 Juneau Empire).

What I would give to have snow plowing service in our neighborhood's private roads! Snow plowing costs our neighborhood association hundreds of dollars every winter (thousands of dollars last winter), and we pay the same taxes as everyone else. So to those who complain about shoveling their driveway berms: Be grateful you have snow plowing service that only costs you a little exercise and not another dime.
