CORDOVA - Five Cordova residents have been arrested on drug dealing charges after an investigation that began in the fall of 1998, according to city police.
Police Chief Ed Weibl said officers arrested Jarret L. Hidalgo, 19, April M. McHoes, 26, Emilie K. Keeton, 31, Jon Branshaw, 41, and Paula M. Carroll, 54, on various drug counts.
All were charged with felonies except for McHoes, whose charge is a misdemeanor. The five were arrested Feb. 6 and were released on bail within a couple of days. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
Police said on numerous occasions between October 1998 and September 1999, an undercover informant allegedly bought cocaine, marijuana and pills from the people arrested.
In each occasion, police said the undercover informant recorded the conversation as the transaction was being completed.
