Thanks for donating to Grace Akiyama Scholarship Fund

Alaska Youth Choir would like to thank the Juneau Community Foundation Fund and the JSL Group for their generous gifts totaling $1,000 to the Grace Akiyama Scholarship Fund. Their commitment to helping young people participate in our choral program is sincerely appreciated.

Each year Alaska Youth Choir continues to advance its mission of providing excellence in choral singing for all youth ages 6 to 18 years in the community of Juneau. Through our programs Juneau children are able to grow in their musical knowledge, perform a variety of choral music throughout Juneau and surrounding communities, host visiting Children's Choirs from other states, participate in national and international touring opportunities and make new friends.

In particular, Alaska Youth Choir has seen a dramatic growth in our Preparatory Choir level this year for ages 6-8 years old, and we look forward to continued growth in the future.

Thanks again to JSL Group and the Juneau Community Foundation Fund for their generous support of the Grace Akiyama Scholarship Fund and Alaska Youth Choir.
