JUNEAU - A seafood company says Adak Petroleum is refusing to sell it fuel over a lease dispute, and it wants the Regulatory Commission of Alaska to intervene.
Adak Seafood filed its complaint against the subsidary of The Aleut Corp. this week. A message left after hours Thursday for the Alaska Native corporation wasn't immediately returned.
The complaint alleges Adak Petroleum is abusing its position as the only petroleum supplier on Adak Island. It wants the commission to require that Adak Petroleum sell it fuel. It also wants the commission to look into what it calls Adak Petroleum's oil monopoly.
